Response:
- 科学者の目標は、宇宙を説明することである。神を方程式に加えた方がいいなら、そうするだろう。しかし、創造論者にとっても神は不可知であり、従って神は宇宙の説明には役に立たない。
- 神なしに何かを説明することは、神を不要にするわけではない。多くの人々は、科学的意味とは無関係に、個人の生活にとって神は必要だと信じている。これに対して、Morrisの主張は神は個人的な神としては無価値だと言っているに等しい。
