Dr. Javier Cabrera DarqueaがペルーのIcaの村で見つけたIca stones(イカの石)は、人間が生きた恐竜を狩っているか、関係していることを描写した古代の絵である。

Response:
  1. イカの石はほぼ確実に最近のもので、地元の村人たちが騙されやすい観光客に売るために創ったものである。Callangoの村人Basilio Uchuyaとその妻Irma GUtierrez de Aparcanaがコミックの絵や教科書の絵や雑誌の絵をまねたデザインをもとに、石を彫って、Cabreraに売ったことを認めた[Polidoro 2002]。
  2. 石はどこから掘り出されたかわからないと年代測定できないが、掘り出された場所は明らかにされたことがない。
  3. イカの石は高度に発展した超古代文明の証拠だと称されるが、そのような文明の痕跡は残っていない。(ナスカが近くにあるが、ナスカには恐竜の絵はなく、高度技術の証拠もない。)
