- カステネードロの骨格は、数名の男女と子供の骨格のものである。それらは最近に鮮新世の堆積物に埋葬されたもので、人間以外の化石はすべて塩分で飽和していることから証拠づけられる。
オルモの頭蓋骨は上部更新世からのもので、上部旧石器時代の地層内にあった。ありえない場所ではない。
カラベラスの頭蓋骨は意図的なニセモノで、科学者にすぐに見抜かれた(Conrad 1982).
