    DVD "Unlocking the Mystery of Life"は「パワフルだが論争を巻き起こす考えであるインテリジェントデザインを発展させる現代の科学者を描いた」ものだとされている。しかし、実際には原理主義キリスト教組織によって排他的に製作・宣伝されている[Evans 2003]。
  4. インテリジェントデザイン運動は世俗的客観性を装うために宗教的基礎を隠そうとしている[Branch 2002]。彼らの試みは不正直なプロパガンダである。「今日の多くのキリスト教組織のトレンドは創造論をインテリジェントデザインや進歩的創造論としてカモフラージュすることである」[Morris 1999] 彼らの主張に反して、運動には科学がない。
